Activating the Excel Add-in

You will first need to activate the CurinosConnect Add-in to Excel before you can use it. This can be done by you directly or by your MS Office Admin (for web browser versions of Excel only).

Note: The add-in works on Microsoft Excel version 2008 (Build 13127.20408) or later, which was released in September 2020. To install the latest Office update, you can visit: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/install-office-updates-2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5. CurinosConnect is not currently supported by Office 2019 or earlier. To find out what version of Microsoft Office you are using: click here.

 

1.    Open Excel (either the web-version or from your desktop) and choose a new blank worksheet.
2.    To open the CurinosConnect add-in, from the Home ribbon click on the right side of the ribbon.
3.    If the CurinosConnect icon is not yet there (desktop version):
A.   From the Home ribbon, click .
B.   Check both the My Add-ins and Admin Manged tabs for - if it is there, click it and then click .
4.    If you did not find the CurinosConnect icon on either tab, then click .

The Office Add-ins dialog box is displayed.

   
5.    Click the Store tab.
6.    Click Browse and search for Curinos.
7.    Click and follow the instructions to activate.
8.    To open the CurinosConnect add-in, from the Home ribbon click on the right side of the ribbon.
 

 

 

For Users Without Access to the Add-ins from the Microsoft App Store (common)

 

1.    Identify the person/group in your organization responsible for the administration of Microsoft Office (most often IT)
2.    Reach out to this person/group and request that the CurinosConnect Microsoft Excel 'Add-in' be activated via the Microsoft AppSource store for yourself and your team.

Exceptions: Note that in rare circumstances organizations do not authorize any Add-Ins from the Microsoft store. In these cases there may be alternative installation paths.
